The Solutions for all English First Additional Language course for Grade 4 has been developed to support the content (knowledge, concepts and skills) contained in the National Curriculum Statement (NCS), as organised in the new Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for First Additional Language. The Solutions for all English First Additional Language Grade 4 course consists of the following components:• Learner’s Book • Reader • Teacher’s Guide. These components are designed to work together to enrich the teaching and learning experience in the English First Additional Language classroom.Included in the Solutions for all English First Additional Language Grade 4 Teacher’s Guide are the following:• The curriculum for English First Additional Language as set out in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for First Additional Language • Practical assistance with the principles of best practice for classroom management • Suggested methodology for using the Solutions for all English First Additional Language course in the classroom • Step-by-step guidance on how to carry out activities • Additional homework activities • Extra practice activities that cater for both remediation and enrichment • Additional materials, from a variety of sources, which will provide the teacher with the complete solution to teaching English First Additional Language in Grade 4.
