The Solutions for all Life Sciences course has been developed to support the content (knowledge, concepts and skills) contained in the National Curriculum Statement (NCS) as organised in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for Life Sciences. The Solutions for all Life Sciences course consists of the following components: • Learner’s Book • Teacher’s Guide The components are designed to work together to enrich the teaching and learning in the Life Sciences classroom. The Solutions for all Life Sciences Teacher’s Guide includes the following: • Suggested methodology for using the Solutions for all Life Sciences course in the classroom • Comprehensive answers with mark allocations to questions in the Learner’s Book • A suggested programme of formal assessment • Rubrics for the assessment of specific activities as well as generic rubrics • Practice tests and examinations with memoranda.
