The Solutions for all Maths Literacy Learner’s Book has been developed to support the content (knowledge, concepts and skills) as organised in the new Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for Mathematical Literacy. The Solutions for all Maths Literacy Learner’s Book has been organised to support teaching and learning in the Mathematical Literacy classroom by presenting the material in a series of topics. In each topic the learners will: • establish what they already know • learn new facts • practise using the new knowledge, concepts and skills they have acquired. In addition, learners are provided with: • additional homework activities • extra practice activities that cater for both remediation and enrichment • a summary for each topic that will reinforce the new knowledge, concepts and skill they have acquired. The Solutions for all Maths Literacy Learner’s Book is supported by the Solutions for all Maths Literacy Teacher’s Guide. This course provides a complete solution that the teacher and learners need to master Mathematical Literacy in Grade 11.
