Description

The Solutions for all Creative Arts course for Grade 9 has been developed to support the content (knowledge, concepts and skills) contained in the new Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) Creative Arts. The Solutions for all Creative Arts course consists of the following components: • Learner’s Book • Teacher’s Guide. These components are designed to work together to enrich the teaching and learning experience in the Creative Arts classroom. Included in the Solutions for all Creative Arts Teacher’s Guide are the following: • An overview of CAPS in the form of an annual teaching plan • Guidelines on assessment and how the material caters for inclusivity and integration • Additional background information for the teacher • A section that covers prior knowledge that helps the teacher to determine learners’ readiness to progress • An indication of the cognitive levels covered by the questions of each activity • Step-by-step teaching guidelines for every activity, which also includes suggestions for informal assessment • Answers to all classroom and homework activities, as well as assessment tasks • Support (remedial) and enrichment activities • Sample tests/examination with memorandum.
