The Solutions for all Physical Sciences course has been developed to support the content (knowledge, concepts and skills) contained in the National Curriculum Statement (NCS) as organised in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for Physical Sciences. The Solutions for all Physical Sciences course consists of the following components: • Learner’s Book • Teacher’s Guide The components are designed to work together to enrich the teaching and learning in the Physical Sciences classroom. The Solutions for all Physical Sciences Teacher’s Guide includes the following: • Suggested methodology for using the Solutions for all Physical Sciences course in the classroom • Comprehensive answers with mark allocations to questions in the Learner’s Book • A suggested programme of formal assessment • Rubrics for the assessment of activities • Practice tests and examinations with memoranda.
